high tensile strength galvanized steel wire is the steel wire with zinc coat. It is usually used for cable, steel wire rope and steel strand. There are 2 ways to make the galvanized steel wire: hot dip and electro plate. Our factory focuses on hot-dipped galvanized steel wire. Compared to electroplate technology, hot dipped galvanized steel wire has many advantages as below:
- The hot dip process is before the wire drawing process, which makes the surface of steel wire smoother and well-distributed. The adhesive force of zinc is stronger. It will be hard to fall apart from steel wire.
- The zinc coating density of hot dipped galvanized steel wire is about 15-100g/mm2, while the electroplate is only about 6-9g/mm2. As a result, the heat resistance of hot dipped wire is much better. Moreover, it passes the 48 hours acid mist test.
- It has better anti-rust and corrosion performance.
